1. What Era Materna Is

Era Materna is an informational shopping guidance platform. We help families build personalized baby product lists, compare prices across Brazilian retailers, and share lists for baby showers. We do not sell products, hold inventory, or act as a retailer.

We are not a medical service. Recommendations provided by the Platform are informational only and do not constitute medical, nutritional, or professional advice of any kind. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider for medical decisions regarding your baby.

2. Affiliate Disclosure

Era Materna participates in affiliate programs. When you click a product link and make a purchase on a partner retailer's website, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.

Affiliate relationships do not influence our recommendations. Products are selected based on quality, fit for the user profile, and value for money — not commission rates. We never recommend a product solely because it generates higher affiliate revenue.

A percentage of every affiliate commission earned is directed to our social impact fund to provide complete baby kits to families in need.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account on Era Materna. By registering, you confirm you meet this requirement and that any information you provide about children is provided with full parental or guardian authority.

4. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate information in the questionnaire. The quality of your personalized list depends on the accuracy of your responses.
• Keep your account credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
• Do not use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in a way that violates these Terms.
• Do not attempt to scrape, reverse-engineer, or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, algorithms, interfaces, logos, and data compilations — is the property of Era Materna or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without prior written consent.

Content you submit (such as list names and preferences) remains yours. You grant Era Materna a limited license to use it solely to provide and improve the service.

6. Availability and Changes

We aim to maintain continuous availability of the Platform but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature with reasonable notice where practicable.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email and by a notice on the Platform at least 15 days before taking effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Brazilian law, Era Materna is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform or from purchasing decisions made based on recommendations. Our total liability for any direct claim is limited to the amount you paid to Era Materna in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not responsible for the content, availability, pricing, or fulfillment practices of third-party retailers linked from the Platform.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federative Republic of Brazil. Any disputes will be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the city of São Paulo, State of São Paulo, Brazil, except where mandatory consumer protection rules require otherwise.
